2016 Finance Symposia
The last section of the 2016 Financial Symposium has come to an end. This summer we served 41 people representing 18 schools/districts. WebSmart staff covered two extensive days of training covering end of year procedures for HR/Payroll and Finance, updates to WebSmart including mandated TRS changes, and how to easily make wage allocation changes on positions. As always, participants had ample time to work on their own end-of-year procedures such as entering pay periods, reviewing leave balances and policies, promoting contracts; reviewing ledgers, budgets, vendor transactions, federal grants, % allocation of program intent codes, and much more, with JR3 staff available to guide them through the process, even during interval and lunch breaks.
